This is an event to honor and display local home builder/developer Silverstock Builders on the first National Association of Home Builders Gold Certified Green Home in the Nation since the National Green Building Program started in Feb. 2008. This NAHB program enables builders across the country to construct new homes using nationally prepared green building guidelines and then obtain third party certification of such.

Specific Timeline of Events:
VIP Open House 10am-11am. Invited to this event are local and State politicians and gubernatorial candidates, members of local Town Councils, Sussex County Council and Planning Board, local building officials, members of the National Association of Home Builders and the NAHB Research Center. Also members of the Home Builders Assn of Delaware Green Building Council. In addition to a brief welcoming ceremony, guests will be able to tour the Certified home.
Open House 11am-2pm. Invitations extended to members of the home building industry – builders, developers, realtors, various trade subcontractors, bankers.
Food and drink will be provided.

Directions to Site: From the intersection of Route 1 and Route 26. Go west on Route 26 to first light (Kent Avenue); turn left. Proceed 2 miles to Beaver Dam Road; make a left. Community is on the left, just after Beaver Dam Road crosses Parker House Road, at the intersection with Thornton Drive.
