Suede Bar and Lounge Grand Opening, July 7 2008 at 5:30 PM
On Monday, July 7, a Grand Opening Celebration of Suede Bar & Lounge, the newest hot spot in the Financial District of Los Angeles is scheduled to open by owners Lillian Gastelum and Richard Valenzuela. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be performed by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa . It is with the Mayor’s vision of revitalizing Downtown Los Angeles that inspired the owners to invest in downtown and pursue their dream to open an upscale establishment in the Financial District at one of the City’s landmark hotels, the Westin Bonaventure. Suede is located on the lobby level of the hotel.
The Grand Opening’s guest list includes an array of celebrities including Jimmy Smits and Edward James Olmos, local Downtown business professionals and Los Angeles City officials. Local media, photographers as well as Fashion Magazines have been invited.
SUEDE’S service philosophy is simple: to create the “ultimate guest experience” through its friendly professional staff. Adding to the cool vibe setting is the eclectic music and soft lighting designed to create a calm and relaxing ambiance. For the international traveler and guest, the well-trained multi-cultural staff speaks most major languages.
SUEDE hosts a 4444 Chill Happy Hour Monday thru Friday from 4-8 p.m. that includes $4 well drinks, $4 wine, $4 drafts, and $4 appetizers for the professional, after-work crowd looking for a place to unwind before hitting the downtown traffic.
Suede is open 7 days a week 4p-2a and is available for private parties and location shoots. They also feature free wireless internet.
