WHAT:    

The Goodguys 1st Northwest Nationals is a hi-speed vintage drag race and a rod & custom car show all in one! Event features include drag racing with over 300 1972 & earlier race cars as well as 100’s and 100’s of hot rods & custom cars on display, and a manufacturer’s midway.

Racing will be conducted in 14 classes including 250mph nostalgia top fuel dragsters and nitro burning nostalgia funny cars, AA/GAS, A/Fuel, Junior Fuel and many other exciting classes!

Northwest drag racing legend Jerry “The King” Ruth will be honored as the event’s “Hot Rod Hero.” Ruth, now retired from driving is considered the northwest’s most prolific drag racer. He will be on hand throughout the weekend, will sign autographs Saturday and be introduced to the crowd during pre-race ceremonies Sunday morning.

The Goodguys 1st Northwest Nationals is the 4th of five tour stops on the 2005 Goodguys West Coast Championship Series – the nation’s only competitive points series for vintage drag racers.

WHEN:    

Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 2, 3 & 4. Qualifying runs are scheduled throughout the day Friday and Saturday with final eliminations Sunday. Pro qualifying is scheduled for 1pm Friday and 10am and 4pm Saturday. Final eliminations begin Sunday at 10am.

TICKETS:    

General Admission - $20 Friday, 25 per day Saturday & Sunday. Kids 7-12 $10 per day. Pacific Raceways charges a $5 parking fee.
