About The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association:
The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association promotes and produces some of the world’s most dynamic automotive events. Why? Because we’re car people, just like you. Founded by lifelong hot rodder Gary Meadors in 1983, Goodguys events feature thousands of candy colored hot rods and custom cars sprawled throughout venues such as lush fairgrounds, super speedways and large outdoor stadiums. The cars, the vendor exhibits, the live entertainment and colorful people create a festive atmosphere charged with electricity. Goodguys offers over 20 events annually across the country from New York to Florida, from San Diego to Seattle and all points in between. The events range from two-day affairs attended by 30,000 to 40,000 people to three and four day extravaganza's attracting over 100,000 auto enthusiasts.
Goodguys is the world’s largest rod & custom association with membership fast approaching 70,000 nationwide! The growth of Goodguys is due in large part because the events and the association appeal to and attract a wide range of auto enthusiasts. Most Goodguys events welcome rods, customs, classics, trucks, street machines and muscle cars through 1972 vintage while the “Get-Togethers” welcome all, years, makes & models of American powered cars and trucks.
Our aim is to provide car owners and enthusiasts alike with fun, family oriented events where the main objective is to have fun with automobiles.
Goodguys association members receive the monthly Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette, a 225-page full color, super sized and entertaining look at Goodguys events, hot rod heroes, hot rod companies, hot cars and their owners, hot rod classifieds and all the latest news on what did, what is, and what's gonna happen in the world of hot rodding! Members also receive the full-color “Goodtimes Yearbook” – a coffee table keeper which chronicles the entire event season with stunning photography. A membership card, plus discounts for event participants are also valuable perks of Goodguys membership.
If you dig cars and the car scene, then you’ll dig the events and being part of the world's largest association dedicated to rods, customs and classics.
