GOLDEE AND “SWEET MARY” DEBUT AT #2 ON THE NEW MUSIC WEEKLY TOP 40 MOST ADDED RADIO CHART.

April 2, 2007 (Hammond, Louisiana) – Only two days after the official radio add date Goldee’s debut single “Sweet Mary” has hit the number two spot on the New Music Weekly Top 40 Most Added Radio Chart. “Sweet Mary” is a song celebrating Goldee’s relationship with his mother, who died of cancer when Goldee was just 12 years old. “It’s an extremely personal song and I spit my heart out on that track” replied Goldee when asked about the lyrics. “To help capture emotion, the vocals were recorded on the anniversary of mom’s death.” Also featured on the song is Goldee’s longtime friend from the neighborhood, R&B singer Sammy Quinn, who was brought in to lend his smooth vocals to the cut.

The track is the first single from Goldee’s debut CD entitled “Hustle High, Hat Low.” Clocking in at 74 minutes, the disc is a showcase of Goldee’s versatility and includes such fist pumping anthems as “Hustle High, Hat Low,” heavy gangsta tunes “Over Here” and “Real S***,” and danceable club tracks “I’m Stuntin’,” “Woah Nahh” and “We Don’t Give A F***.”  Similar to the R&B-esque “Sweet Mary,” the track “Babygurl,” covers the sincere emotions of a man that just found out he is going to be a father.

Get ready for a new era in hip-hop with the introduction of “Hustle High, Hat Low” from Time Value Records and Louisiana’s golden boy, Goldee.
