PARIS (MMD Newswire) March 17, 2010 -- Summertime Publications announces the publication of Paris, Moi, and the Gang: A Memoir... of Sorts, Frances Gendlin's literary valentine to the city she loves.
Gendlin presents a romp through the streets of Paris in her fictional memoir written to be both intriguing and informative. A paean to the charm that sets Paris apart from other cities in the world, the book tells the story of an American travel writer and expatriate who is writing a new guide to her favorite city, showing through her own experiences why this city draws people to it again and again.
Gendlin combines American-French historical anecdotes, local lore and her daily life to craft a look at this city that has captured the world's imagination for centuries. Her insights and firsthand knowledge about Paris are included to give readers an understanding of the city that they might not be able to have on their own. Gendlin notes, "This book exemplifies the comment of William Grimes in the The New York Times who said, ‘There can never be too many books on France and the French.'"
Paris, Moi, and the Gang: A Memoir... of Sorts is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
