FORMER MIAMI HEAT YACHT BRINGS HIGHEST BID AT FREEDOM TOWER AUCTION FOR WOMEN’S FUND OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY
On November 9, 2006, Arena Eagle Events, LLC., was a gold member sponsor for the fundraiser hosted by the CREW-Miami Real Estate Women for the Women's Fund of Miami-Dade County. More than 500 area business leaders attended this function held at the Freedom Tower in downtown Miami. The ultimate winner of the charter went to Cynthia Dienstag, an area attorney who plans to throw her holiday party for about 40 of her friends and associates.
The yacht was formerly owned by the Heat Group to showcase the American Airlines Arena and the Miami Heat basketball team and they converted this classic motor yacht to coast guard standards in 2000 to accommodate up to 55 guests. Owner Greg Paulay purchased the yacht in 2003 and has hosted some of the areas hottest and most exclusive parties which included the VMA after parties for winner Kanye West, Jay-Z and others. The company has even entertained world leaders such as Peace Prize Laureate and former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev and have named the master stateroom the "Gorby Stateroom" on the lower level
The company is always seeking ways to give back to the community and often donates time and resources for worthy causes.
The yacht is located in Miami and is available for a variety of functions including cruises and dockside parties.
