FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FLEXA’s Introduces Colorful Textiles to Inspire Kids’ Imaginative PlaySUFFOLK, VA – FLEXA introduces a new line of colorful play curtains, towers, play pockets and pillows designed make children’s bedrooms into a world of imaginative play.
FLEXA, the international leader in modular children’s bed systems, will debut the textiles to retailers at the September ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas and at the October High Point Furniture Market in North Carolina. Consumers will be able to purchase the items starting in January 2007.
“FLEXA’s textile accessories are an important part of the FLEXA experience,” says Peder Sorensen, president of FLEXA US. “Of course, they create a great decorative environment but they also create a place where kids imaginations can flourish.” “We’ve got a curtain that looks like a store or a puppet theater, a tunnel for playing hide and seek and even castle towers so kids can pretend they are in a whole different world,” he continues. “Kids get excited when they seem them. Our retailers say kids run to our beds when they see our textiles on our beds.” The new curtains fit the loft or bunk beds and offer design details like numbers, windows, peek-a-boo flaps, and play pockets. Panels fit the head or foot of the bed. Two panels cover the length of a bed. The new textiles also include towers, play pockets, pillows. Towers are available as mini-tent over the sleeping area or turret-style covering a FLEXA ladder platform. Play pockets attach to railings, ready to hold books, toys and clothing. FLEXA’s new decorative pillows make for cozy stylish beds. FLEXA also introduces four rugs, the first ever made by FLEXA. These circle rugs in pink with green accents and blue with yellow accents, are 100% cotton. “With so many accessories to choose from,” Sorensen adds, “you can change the look of the room by changing just the curtains. We can grow with a child through the various phases of their lives.” All FLEXA textiles are made from non-toxic materials and all vegetable dyes. They are certified by the European organization OKOTEC. ### FLEXA is an innovator and a manufacturer of modular children’s bedroom solutions. Based in Denmark with an office and factory in Suffolk, Virginia, the company has been making children’s furniture since 1972. FLEXA furniture is sold in select retailers across the country.
