Family Memories are Protected Forever with a Free Web Site
May 05, 2008
Carmel, IN - - May 5, 2008 - - Every life has a story worth telling. An innovative, new web site ensures family memories are recorded and protected forever for future generations.  The free site offers several user-friendly, time-saving features which include categories and story prompts, making it easy for the ordinary person to keep a personal history to share with loved ones.

Steve Churchill was inspired by a friend’s father who wrote stories of his childhood, being in the Marines and getting married. The father has since died. The son reads these treasured stories to his children at bedtime. “I was so inspired and tried to emulate my friend’s father with writing stories, but with the fast pace of life I found it was impossible. I thought ‘there must be an easier way’, and that was the beginning of MadMarg,” explained MadMarg founder, Steve Churchill.

Something that makes MadMarg truly unique is the little reminders or nudges that can spark a quick story. “Most people have already forgotten more stories about their children than they can remember. Life moves by so quickly, it is easy to forget. MadMarg’s Nudges help you take 5 minutes out of your busy day to write a quick story about your child, or even yourself. Then, get back to your day,” said Steve Churchill.

Every experience becomes a part of our own personal history. MadMarg ensures that those experiences are remembered and shared with those most important to us. MadMarg is a free service that helps capture all the moments in a child’s life before they become forgotten memories.  MadMarg members can invite family and friends to input stories. Over time, an entire collection of stories will accumulate that will last a lifetime.

Within the next 60 days, MadMarg will even feature an option to edit and publish a book. “It would be like a coffee table book with your own personal history,” explained Steve Churchill.

About MadMarg:

MadMarg was the brainchild of husband and wife team, Steve and Jennifer
Churchill. The unusual name, MadMarg, comes from the combination of the founders’ daughters’ names, Madeline and Margaret.  MadMarg is a site designed with the sole purpose of preserving family stories and history. The site launched late February and already has 500 members signed up.
