Condom Jungle, a retailer of condoms, reports a new trend -- an increase in requests for extra extra-large condoms -- which serves as evidence of modern man's evolving penis size. This finding is based on a two-year observation by the retailer showing that more and more men not only feel they need bigger condoms than the largest ones that are currently available on the market but are, in fact, demanding them.
This trend is more than just men's wishful thinking about their anatomy. "We get emails and phone calls from customers complaining that even the largest condoms are not large enough," says David Schwartz, Customer Service Manager at CondomJungle. Even though extra-large condoms are currently listed in the product lines of many well-known and lesser known brands, CondomJungle is finding that these "jumbo" condoms still do not fulfill the needs of many customers, which puts well-endowed men at a safe sex disadvantage. Condom manufacturers should heed this plea for enormous condoms and make a product line that is bigger than what is on the market now.
"We are concerned that if the largest condoms that are available are too small for this growing segment of the population, some men may stop using condoms because they are ill-fitting and therefore less comfortable while other very well-endowed men will continue using condoms that are too small, which could decrease condom effectiveness," says Schwartz.
Although the demand for larger condoms as a nation-wide trend, the number of people begging for bigger condoms in certain states far exceeds the requests by men in other states. According to CondomJungle, the top 15 U.S. states where men are demanding extra extra-large condoms are:
