Exotic Flowers waged its Red Sox calla lilies against Maarse's heavenly Casablanca lilies. The Red Sox swept the Los Angeles Angels and Exotic Flowers reaped the benfefit.

"The dramatic end to game 2 and the superb pitching of Schilling and Beckett have given me enough confidence to up my ante against Cleveland's Fracci florist," said Canale. Canale has proposed Red Sox Calla lilies, Wally the Green Monster (Sox mascot) autograph, and a Red Sox/Exotic Flowers co branded fully licensed jacket. Fracci florist is wagering a Chief Wahoo bobblehead replete with feather fern and red wahoo feathers.

Eight florists, members of the Society of American Florists, from the cities with playoff teams all agreed to a wager on the outcome of the World Series. Each florist pits its product against the other for each series of play. Should their team take a final spot, the loser of the series has agreed to work for a weekend in the winner's shop, including the creation of a grand floral arrangement to congratulate the 2007 World Series champion.
