WHAT: On Tuesday the Enough Is Enough Campaign will rally outside the OYA Restaurant where Black Entertainment Television Networks is holding a reception for the Congressional Black Caucus. This rally is only hours after an early morning rally outside the Rayburn House hearings on hip hop. For the past two Saturdays Enough Is Enough! Last Saturday noted activist Dick Gregory joined the campaign that endorses corporate responsibility in entertainment.

WHY: Community leaders along with people of conscience and concern are protesting the commercialization and marketing of negative and derogatory images of black men and women in the entertainment industry. This movement recognizes the power of media and entertainment corporations to shape American attitudes, opinions, behaviors, and even policies by and about people of color.
