Campaign supporters have demonstrated peacefully at the home of Black Entertainment Television Networks Chair and CEO, Debra L. Lee.  Last Saturday noted activist Dick Gregory joined the campaign that endorses corporate responsibility in entertainment.

Washington, DC 20001

WHY:
Community leaders along with people of conscience and concern are protesting the commercialization and marketing of negative and derogatory images of black men and women in the entertainment industry.   This movement recognizes the power of media and entertainment corporations to shape American attitudes, opinions, behaviors, and even policies by and about people of color.
