(EHG) announced that it has received full accreditation by EHNAC -- The Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission.   EHNAC provides accreditation only to those companies that meet the highest industry and professional standards for electronic health care claims transactions and processing, known as EDI – Electronic Data Interchange.  Accredited firms must meet rules for privacy and security and claims transaction management.

The accreditation recognizes EHG’s professionalism and accountability in meeting HIPAA’s protected health information (PHI) regulations, and its adherence to the highest industry standards in the areas of claims transaction response time, security infrastructure and efficient transaction processing capabilities.  HIPAA represents Federal government standards for the health care industry.
