DANIELLE AGNELLO: FROM PSYCH WARD TO FILM DIRECTORIAL DEBUT
LOS ANGELES, CA, FEBRUARY 19, 2008: Danielle Agnello, who in 2003 suffered a car accident that would result in a coma, amnesia, a mental break, confinement in five psychiatric wards and homelessness, will make her directorial debut with her feature film LIME SALTED LOVE, starring Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, The L Word), Kate del Castillo (Trade, Bordertown), Jason Brooks (Days of Our Lives, Baywatch Hawaii) Billy Drago (The Hills Have Eyes, The Untouchables, Charmed), at the New York International Film And Video Festival. The film will screen at the ImaginAsian Theatre, 239 E. 59th street on Saturday March 1st at 8:00 PM EST. With this premiere Danielle will prove that a climb out of the abyss is possible.
Lime salted love, which screened at the Whistler Film Festival, has been declared “Emotionally wrenching and visually surreal” by critic Todd Konrad of the Independent Film Quarterly, “Agnello radiates brokenness like a cracked porcelain doll."
