Cupid.com/PreDating Seeks to Establish Guinness(tm) World Record with nationwide speed dating events
Poughkeepsie, NY - Cupid.com/PreDating ( www.cupid.com/predating ), North America's largest speed dating company, announced today that it will attempt to establish the Guinness™ World Record for the largest simultaneous speed dating event ever held. About 117 Cupid.com/PreDating parties are scheduled to be held in almost 100 cities in the US and Canada on Tuesday evening, February 6th -- just in time for Valentine’s Day. In all, it is anticipated that more than 3,100 eligible singles will participate in the record-breaking event, which equates to about 43,550 6-minute speed dates in one evening.

Reservations are now being accepted for the February 6th events. A special registration and information page has been established that lists cities throughout North America where speed dating parties will be held. Provided the requisite elements are fulfilled, Guinness World Records, Ltd. will certify the event following its conclusion and it may be listed in the next edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.
