Cool ways to support our troops – at Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Custom Harley-Chopper Raffle, Spokes-Model and Support Our Troops biker apparel.

Join us for Bike Week at Destination Daytona for the unveiling of the 2006 Support Our Troops Harley-Chopper!

Raffle to benefit the troops and their families.

Daytona Beach, FL - (mmd-news) - - Founded by civilian and former Florida attorney Martin Boire, Support Our Troops, Inc. (SoT) is a nationwide charity based in Daytona Beach, on a mission to provide for the families of our brothers and sisters who are out there daily, working to keep those of us at home free.   SoT will do this through the sale of specialty license plates in each state, clothing, the sale of various merchandise (stickers, pins, flags, and ribbons etc.) both online and at retail venues across the United States and most recently, through the cool and less conventional sale of raffle tickets for the 2006 Support Our Troops Custom Harley-Chopper.  Money generated from these sales will put the children of our troops through college, help with home bills, assist with a kid’s first car - the types of things that mom or dad would do if they could.  Since Support Our Troops will be the third great national charity for our troops, it has established an advisory board, which will consist of many of America’s finest; Harley-Davidson legend and Sturgis Hall of Fame’s, Bruce Rossmeyer is one of them.

“Bruce could easily be described as the "Big Man with the Huge Heart.” as quoted from the Sturgis hall of fame web site and his contribution towards the success of the build is part of his way to show support to the troops and families.  The bike will begin a yearlong tour on Thursday at Destination Daytona, Home of the world’s largest Harley-Davidson dealership.  Then it will tour the top ten rally locations in the US on a mission to raise awareness of the coming Support Our Troops license plates and to raise money for the troops and their families.   Biker Design Company has also joined the SOT team and is the licensee for official Support Our Troops apparel.   Desiree Veins is the Official SOT spokes model and is also excited about the opportunity to represent the troops since she comes from several generations of military service in her family.
