San Francisco, CA -- May 5, 2008 -- Now, for the first time in history, coincidences have been discovered. A new book called The History of Coincidences has been written about this discovery. Nearly every event in history has coincidences in it that have never been found before. Over 3,000 coincidences have been discovered in history from 2500 BC to the present. Many people are aware of the thirteen coincidences between President Lincoln and President Kennedy. It has been found there are coincidences like this in almost every event in history.

Coincidences are where events and people in them are in sync. One of the most recent coincidences is both actors Tom Cruise and Brooke Shields had a child born on the same day in the same hospital on April 18, 2006. Another coincidence is that Nicole Simpson, the wife of O.J. Simpson who was murdered in 1994, was murdered at her house on Bundy Drive. Serial killer Ted Bundy has the same name as the street she was killed on and his mother married on May 19, 1951. Nicole Simpson was born on May 19, 1959. The same month and day that Ted Bundy's parents were married. Jacqueline Kennedy, the wife of President Kennedy, died on May 19, 1994. John F. Kennedy, Jr., her son, graduated from law school on May 19, 1989. These type of coincidences have been happening every year for hundreds of years and no one has been aware of it until now.

For an unknown reason there are also many coincidences to the number 17 in almost all coincidences and important events happen on the 17th day of the month. Three major earthquakes have occurred on the 17th. There was an earthquake in San Francisco on Oct. 17, 1989. There was an earthquake in Los Angeles on Jan. 17, 1994. There was also an earthquake in Kobe, Japan that killed 5,000 people on Jan. 17, 1995. Nicole Simpson had her first child born on the 17th. The two space shuttle disasters happened 17 years apart. Space shuttle Challenger exploded in 1986 and space shuttle Columbia exploded before it landed in 2003. These are just a few coincidences to the number 17 and there are hundreds more.

The author also has hundreds of coincidences to his name and birthdate in almost all events in history because he was the first person to discover coincidences in history.
