Conn. Fashion Magazine & Modeling School Hosts Fashion Shows Series to help raise money for its students
CT – (mmd-news) - - Fashion Models Institute/IMANI Magazine presents its series of community fashion shows to raise funding for its students and increase public awareness. The first show in the series, the “Valentines Fashion Show” will be packed with education, fashion, fundraisers and excitement. A model search, raffles and entertainment will be included as part of the event. Fashion designers, make-up artists and other sponsors are invited to participate. One of its students, Vicki Espiritusanto, won 1st place Teen Division for the National Sunburst Beauty Scholarship Pageant and is trying to raise approximately $600 for the trip to Cape Cod, MA. The students are preparing to go to Miami as a group to take part in a Modeling Convention. An audition for dancers will take place on Saturday February 4th at the show location (55 Audubon St.) from 12noon to 1pm.
IMANI/FMI is seeking product donations such as clothing, skincare, make-up items, shoes, school supplies and other product items. They are also available to make national and local fashion show presentations for companies, schools and community programs. They are prepping their students to make TV and Radio appearances.
Members of the public are invited to attend. The event is set for Saturday February 11 2006 and begins at 12:15 p.m. Admission is free. Fashion Models Institute/IMANI Magazine is a national modeling school/agency and magazine targeted at the fashion industry and improving self-esteem in youth.
