Butch is a 30-year boating enthusiast and has been restoring boats for nearly a decade. Butch's 20-years of management and manufacturing experience, over a broad range of fields, enable him to own and operate a business he is so passionate about. Jack McCarthy and his wife Tina will continue to be a vital part of The Wooden Boat Shop and the McCarthy legacy of boat restoration.
The Wooden Boat Shop has grown steadily over the years and has a nation-wide clientele. The core business of boat restoration will continue as well as their unique mail order business. "Do it yourself" restorers are able to locate the correct merchandise for their project and can receive technical advice to get the project completed correctly. The shop stocks every item a person could possibly need to restore his/her own personal watercraft including: paint, varnish, epoxiesmarine plywood, solid mahogany and white oak. Parts from all major manufacturers are available as well.
