China Wi-Max Communications, Inc. Announces Appointment Of Paul Pierron As Chief Executive Officer

MEQUON, WISCONSIN, October 8, 2007 -- China Wi-Max announced here today, the appointment of Paul Pierron as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Pierron brings more than 30 years of leadership, creativity and business development experience as the company moves from the conceptual and development phase to acquiring and deploying assets in China. Mr. Pierron has taken a number of broadband fiber companies to great success and sold them over the past decade.  Most recently he was CEO of Xspedius Communications LLC which Mr. Pierron and his team increased revenue and sold it to Time Warner Telecom for $530 million dollars. This represented a multiple of 17x EBITDA.

Prior to that Mr. Pierron held leadership positions at BP Investments, LLC in St. Louis, Digital Teleport [now LightCore], New Edge, Sprint PCS and Gabriel Communications. Mr. Pierron also held several General Manager positions with Southwestern Bell Telephone in the Midwest. Mr. Pierron holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, in Management, from Arkansas State University.

In addition to transitioning the company’s headquarters to St. Louis, Mr. Pierron’s initial duties will include joining the upcoming China Wi-Max trade mission to China in late October, reviewing the assets already owned by the company and establishing the 2008 strategy. He will also be supporting the filing of the China Wi-Max’s application to the SEC for approval to begin trading on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board.
