And the fact that they disclosed their decision to avoid political motives is continuing proof that these moral banners have nothing to do with the Christian faith.
They are a convenient cover for political agendas. They entrap deceived Christians and embolden the "religio-nationalist" zealots who prostitute their religious influence and resources for their political leanings. The Gospel message and Church methodology does not need political assistance. The Church never has and never will need such assistance."
