Seattle, WA -- November 9, 2007 -- Caffé Appassionato, Inc. has become the new brew at Key Arena, Seattle, WA following the departure of Starbucks Coffee as one of the principal sponsors of the Seattle Supersonics.
With the addition of the Sonics and Seattle Thunderbirds which play their home games at Key Arena, and as the “Official Coffee” of the Seattle Seahawks at Qwest Field, Caffé Appassionato coffee has become the “hot” sports beverage in Seattle.
Caffé Appassionato is now on the sidelines or “boards” as the case may be with Seattle’s professional football, basketball, and hockey teams. Given Seattle’s well known damp climate during the winter months, a steaming cup of Caffé Appassionato’s full bodied, low acid coffee may now be preferable at sporting events versus the more recognized cold sport drink dispensed in orange containers.
Jane Galloway, Caffé Appassionato’s Retail and Special Events manager, cautioned, however, that Seattle’s teams should refrain from showering their winning coaches with a bath of Caffé Appassionato hot coffee upon clinching their respective sport championships; the traditional cold sports beverage is the safer beverage, she says, for such celebrations.
