"Certified Associate in Category Management" (CACM) Now Available from the Convenience of Student's Desks
June 11, 2007 -- The Category Management Knowledge Group (CMKG) has a first-ever offer. Available immediately, students can now obtain the first ever “Certified Associate in Category Management” (CACM) designation from the convenience of their desk. This certification, built by industry professionals, for industry professionals, can be purchased on-line at www.CMKG.org .
Not only will students receive a strong base understanding of the Category Management process, but they will also receive free e-mail support. CMKG, a leading provider of Category Management solutions, has identified a global need for quality, and is now offering affordable category management training. The result is twofold: 1) a global Category Management Certification Program; and 2) a web-based membership website that provides access to unique video-based training.
During this program, students will have 2 months to complete 11 video-based training modules, a case study, three online quizzes and one online final exam, all on their own time. A “Fast-Fact” sheet will be provided, capturing key elements of the training modules. Qualified candidates will be issued a Certified Associate in Category Management (CACM) designation, and a Certificate of Authentication. Of note, Certified Specialist in Category Management (CSCM) and Certified Professional in Category Management (CPCM) designation programs will be available by 2008.
CMKG’s membership website, at www.CMKG.org , provides its members with access to many different “e-training” modules, categorized into Data Sources, Business Results, Sales Drivers and Category Management. Most modules are between 12 to 15 minutes in duration, with new modules being added monthly.
Members can review any or all of the available e-training modules, based on individual needs and experience. Additional resources, including quizzes and future steps for each training module, are also available.
