TEHACHAPI, Calif. (MMD Newswire) June 24, 2009 -- How Are Your AMPS? (Attitudes + Motives + Priorities = Success) by pastor Cecil A. Parker seeks to serve as a real-life recipe for success. "My life experiences with the Depression, war, raising children and working hard are not much different from those that are felt by today's average American," says Parker. "Readers will be able to identify with and draw hope and wisdom from my experiences and successes."
Success, according to Parker, is spawned from the application of three basic tenets: attitudes, motives and priorities. The main goal, he adds, is setting goals to guide readers through the crises of life. "The idea for this book was given to me as a revelation from the Lord," says Parker. "The principles contained within are the same principles that guided my work, family and ministry throughout my life. Now I feel that I should share those principles with others in order that they might succeed and do the will of God."
Rev. Warren Wheat writes, "I have used AMPS in ministering in the U.S., England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Mallorca, Spain, Kenya, Africa, Australia and the island of Fiji."
