C & C Cannabis Takes Action Against State Agency

Seattle, WA (MMD Newsire) July 18, 2014 -- Managing Member Pete O'Neil of C & C Cannabis today announced that the Seattle based marijuana retailer had filed a lawsuit against the Washington State Liquor Control Board. O'Neil has long been a critic of the agency's roll out of the new adult use cannabis industry in the past two years.

C & C is currently in the final stages of its initial Reg. D capital offering which ends the end of August. With the filing of the lawsuit C & C will now be required pursuant S.E.C. rules to file a Material Event Notice. Last year C & C found itself becoming one of the first firms in the nation to register with the S.E.C. as a company in the business of retail of marijuana in the "safe harbor" state of WA.

The company has attracted a local investors willing to invest $25,000 a share (unit) to be part of C&C's plan to build the Starbucks of marijuana. The firm struggled to secure sites, moved to open an MMJ , work to build brands. C & C is now planning to expand operations in new states.
