Members of Blytheco’s executive team also served as presenters during the conference, providing expert advice and information to channel partners.

Along with recognition for membership in Sage Chairman’s Club, which rewards the achievements of the top business partners across all Business Management Division product lines, Blytheco was also named the Sage Partner of the Year for the Sage Software Business Management Division, Partner of the Year for Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200,  and Partner of the Year for Sage MAS 500. Blytheco was also honored to be named one of Sage Software’s Top Five National Partners.

Blytheco founder and CEO Stephen Blythe served as a presenter for a Sage Insights session on creating successful mergers and acquisitions in the Sage channel partner community. The session was well attended by both buyers and sellers. Blytheco has found great success with its strategy of growing its business by merging with Sage partners who complement Blytheco’s product offerings and geographic locations. With the experience of six Sage business partner acquisitions in 2007, Mr. Blythe shared his experiences, processes and checklists for mergers and acquisitions in the Sage reseller community. Mike Augello, Blytheco Vice-President of Sales, delivered two presentations on successful sales strategies. In Mike’s session on selling against competitive solutions, he used specific examples to explain how the Blytheco sales team worked strategically to position Sage Software systems as cost-effective solutions that would improve their client’s bottom line. His presentation on collaborating with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) described how Blytheco was able to win important sales opportunities due to an ISV relationship that allowed the company to “go the extra mile” for clients by creating solutions that meet their specific industry needs.
