Health Education Curriculum: Inner World Discovery Part 1 - The Immune System/HIV
“Not only is this curriculum informative, but it is really fun to watch especially for all of us who have had to work and sweat over thousands of pages of dry text in all our careers. This presentation is a breath of fresh air,” says Deborah Motika, Licensed Medical Technologist and Chemistry Director at St. Joseph Laboratory, who has already previewed these materials.
“I plan to use this as a resource tool in my educational activities as well,” says Motika who is also a science educator in the Berks County schools.
The Corporate Giving Program at Beckman Coulter, Inc. provided financial support to Inner World Discovery, which was instrumental in the development of the “Inner World Discovery Part 1 - The Immune System /HIV” curriculum.
”This education program will not only provide an excellent review of the immune system as it relates to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus immunology but will also profile and illuminate what Bill Gates has termed the greatest medical disaster ever to hit this planet. This is not only good science education to our nation’s high schools but also good information targeted to an audience that would most benefit. We are happy to support this programming”, says Cathy Dougherty, Group Manager, Worldwide VIP Customer and Community Relations at Beckman Coulter, Inc.
