Author Balwant Kaur intends to reveal how religion is related to each individual in Astrology, Prophecies and Sikhs

HOUSTON (MMD Newswire) July 12, 2010 -- In Astrology, Prophecies and Sikhs, author Balwant Kaur examines religion from a scientific point of view and shares the philosophy of the Sikh faith.

In Astrology, Prophecies and Sikhs, Kaur aims to provide readers with a better understanding of the science of religion by sharing the tenets of the Sikh faith, including its commandments, worship style, practices and dress. Seeking to promote religious tolerance, Kaur reveals how forcing someone to join the Sikh faith is forbidden. "I believe that one's relationship with God is their own personal business as long as one doesn't impose their views on others," he says. Ultimately seeking to recognize the role that religious prophecies as well as astrology plays in one's life, Kaur intends to encourage readers to meditate upon God, not on any worldly deity.

Crediting the Bible, the Torah, Buddhism, Hinduism, the Koran and Sikh scriptures as sources of inspiration, Kaur asks readers to think for themselves. "Most people want to be led and will believe anything their religious leaders tell them," he says. "But everyone must satisfy in their own minds what the real truth is."

Astrology, Prophecies and Sikhs is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
