Arkansas, Florida, Missouri, Oregon & Puerto Rico Join the Aidmatrix Network (R)

States/Territories Benefit from International Donations Management System

DALLAS, TX – March 18, 2008 – The Aidmatrix Foundation today announced five new partnerships with the States of Arkansas, Florida, Missouri and Oregon and the territory of Puerto Rico. These governments joined the Aidmatrix Network® – an international donations management system that links donors, governments and nonprofits in an online supply chain for humanitarian aid. Each government will be given a web portal on the network to which they can direct visitors from their websites during times of disaster. Nonprofits will be able to post their needs, donors will see what is needed, and states can allocate unsolicited donations to the appropriate nonprofit – all with the click of a button.

“We are encouraged to see the further adoption of Aidmatrix Network,” stated Gov. Scott McCallum, president and CEO of the Aidmatrix Foundation. “We now have nearly half of the U.S. population covered by this network. So when disasters strike, we all are better prepared to coordinate the relief efforts.”

Members of the Aidmatrix Network can easily share information and support one another with resources, staff, and more. During the recent wildfires in California, several member states provided staff to assist in the recovery efforts. All of the donations are captured electronically, making them instantly accessible. The biggest benefit however, is the ability to link-up and communicate easily between the donors and nonprofits. It replaces the old ways of inefficient paper-based processes that often delayed the relief process.

The Aidmatrix Network is revolutionizing the way in which humanitarian relief is processed. It is streamlining relief efforts with technology and relationships just like the supply chains used within the for-profit world.
