Premiere on Wednesday, Oct 21 at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood. Friends of The Nobelity Project walking the red carpet to support the film include Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, Dennis Quaid, Bill Bob Thornton, Peter Fonda, Dennis Haysbert and special surprise guests.
Filmed in 20 countries on 5 continents, One Peace at a Time looks at the possibility of providing basic rights to every child. The film features the insights of Nobel laureates Muhammad Yunus and Steve Chu (U.S. Secretary of Energy), Willie Nelson and many others.
The film is distributed by Monterey Media, and the L.A. premiere launches a nationwide screening event, a Season of Unity and Peace, with theaters, churches, community centers, universities and others able to host a screening in their community by signing up at www.unityandpeace.org.

Los Angeles, CA (5 October 2009) One Peace at a Time is an inspiring feature documentary highlighting solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems. The film includes the insights of Nobel Peace laureate Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Physicist Steven Chu, (Barack Obama's Secretary of Energy), Dr. Helene Gayle (CEO of CARE, International), American legend Willie Nelson and many others.
The film's World Premiere in Austin played to a sold-out audience of 1,100 people. One Peace won the Global Doc Audience Award at the Maui Film Festival after an outdoor screening for 3,000. It also screened at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, and is an official selection at numerous American and global film festivals.

The film follows director Turk Pipkin's five-continent, two-year search for a better way ahead. About the Director:
Actor, writer and filmmaker Turk Pipkin is the writer and director of the award-winning documentary Nobelity. As an actor, he appeared in the feature films Friday Night Lights, The Alamo and Scanner Darkly. On HBO's The Sopranos, Turk played the recurring role of Janice's narcoleptic boyfriend, Aaron Arkaway. He is the author of ten books including the recent New York Times best-seller, The Tao of Willie, co-authored with Willie Nelson.
