Johnny Swanson III, A Disabled Military Veteran, 1975 graduate of THE CITADEL, and a former National Security Services consultant has launched a heated attack upon both Alabama Senators serving in the United Congress.

Swanson first criticizes both United States senators for their continued Alignment to BUSH-ISM ( Voting and acting on Bush policies at any expense).  Swanson cites the fact that the lawmakers have stacked their campaign accounts, as reflected by their reports to the Federal Election Committee with millions of dollars for future campaigns while their voting records have and do reflect adverse actions as follows:

-  Refusal to support an award in earlier years for Rosa Parks for her civil rights accomplishments.

-  Votes and /or support in recent years to amend and eliminate or decrease Social Security and medical benefits for Veterans, the Elderly, and their failure to support extension of Child Health care laws.

-  Their recent votes to deny stimulus money to those receiving Social Security payments, as well as to Disabled Military Veterans. The stimulus package passed over their objections.

-  Their continued support for the French government supported Airbus contractor to help defeat Boeing and other airplane makers to secure federal contracts and to out-source billions of dollars and numerous jobs to Europe ( France ?). While it is true that Alabama stands to secure 1000 to 2500 jobs to assemble these planes, no mention is made of the thousands of jobs to be lost throughout the United States the planes in parts design and manufacturing will be going to the Paris, France  based  firm. Our aerospace industry deserves more, and likewise does our many current workers and students in the aerospace  courses in college need to be assured of future work. Our National Security requires greater political action where the law requires that products be made in America.

-  In a recent measure that would have brought thousands of jobs to Alabama while improving the waterways and bring continued economic success to mobile ports was voted down by Alabama Senators. If the measure succeeds, Mobile could see a heavy decline in it’s Port and shipping business.

-  Swanson relates that the records and actions of these United States Senators reflects a SELL AMERICA attitude and action while Alabama Voters have faithfully kept them in Washington, D.C., to the detriment of the State of Alabama.

Swanson, while assailing these politicians, encourages voters to vote this June and November to eliminate the mind set of “BUSH-ISM” Politicians. Both U.S. Senators must go.
