Jagger is honored for her efforts as a global advocate and Hampton (creator and executive producer of the hit family series, "7th Heaven"), is honored for her international philanthropic efforts on behalf of children worldwide. In addition, Operation of Hope will recognize Dr. Stephen Pauley and Dr. Martin Von Hildebrand for his conservation efforts in preserving the Amazon rainforests. The special evening will be hosted by Alex Quinn, son of legendary actor Anthony Quinn and Kelli Gates of the Mark & Brian Show on KLOS 95.5 Radio. The evening' s entertainment includes a special appearance by international Latin music star, Susana Baca and Kevin Sasaki & The Martini Jazz Trio. Since 1989, the U.S.-based Operation of Hope organization has traveled to Africa and South America, donating needed surgeries to children born with cleft-lips and cleft palates. This year alone, the medical team has provided over 150 free facial reconstructive surgeries to children in these countries. A $250.00 donation has the ability to change a child's life forever. A Night of Smiles will raise additional funds to support these medical efforts and to enable the continuation of these missions abroad.
