“25,000 Horsepower Race Boat Assists the NVF and our Returning Veterans”

Ft. Pierce, FL - August 7, 2007 -- Thriller Powerboats, a Florida based company, is currently building a 55 foot racing catamaran powered by twin turbojet engines with afterburners producing a total of 25,000 horsepower.  This boat is being built for the “Sound of Freedom” promotional/racing campaign to raise funds that will benefit The National Veterans Foundation.  The NVF is an organization that has been helping our returning military veterans and their families for over 20 years.  Many of our returning veterans will need the assistance from organizations like the NVF in dealing with the affects of war they suffered during their tour of duty.  The “Sound of Freedom” campaign was formed to help the NVF in their efforts to provide this assistance.

The project is the conception of Arnie Gemino, the CEO of several companies and a former Vietnam combat pilot.  This 3 year campaign has set a goal to raise between 3 and 5 million dollars for the NVF.  All profits from event fees, advertising sponsors and the sale of promotional items as well as individual memberships to the www.usmsg.org website will be donated to the National Veterans Foundation.
