Miami, Florida -- May 30, 2007 -- This legendary, fabled duo responsible for the creation of the genre Salsa, ex-members of Fania All-Stars, creators of Salsa’s innovated 60’S and 70’S beats with fellow Fania members Hector Lavoe, Ruben Blades, Willy Colon etc. will be performing Saturday, June 16 at La Covacha located at 10730 NW 25 ST in the Doral area.

This prodigious duo met in 1964 in New York City. Richie a student of Julliard and piano virtuoso teamed up with Bobby Cruz a self-taught maestro. In 1999 they reunited in Puerto Rico to an audience of 200 thousand. In 2006 they received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
